What is ROCKEY Readers?

ROCKEY Readers are next generation of compact and highly portable Smart card and SIM card readers. These readers are inexpensive, small, lightweight and fully portable Plug & Play device that connects to the USB (Universal Serial Bus) port of any Personal Computer. It has full support and compatibility with Microsoft Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Server2003, MAC OS X 10.1 and Linux (ROCKEY400 at this moment do not support Linux and Mac yet). ROCKEY readers do not require any additional power supply except from the USB port itself. 

ROCKEY Readers offer maximum flexibility and security as you can implement highly portable security systems for multiple users. You don't have to pay huge amounts of money to get large-scale Smart card readers for your security and/or authentication purposes. Transfer information between Smart/SIM cards easily and your PC seamlessly. Both are fully compatible with Microsoft PC/SC standard and are ideal for access control, PC security, ID authentication and GSM applications.

Usage of ROCKEY Readers

ROCKEY100 - ROCKEY100 performs read/write operations on SIM cards. It is a small plug & play device that attaches directly to a USB port and is ideal for applications that require reader portability. Weighing in at only 10 grams and 64 x 22 x 9 mm in size, the ROCKEY100 reader will easily fit into the palm of your hand or trouser pocket. On bicolor LED indicates the working order of the reader. A typical application for the reader is to edit and backup the address book and message information from a mobile telephone SIM card to a PC. However, ROCKEY100 will support any application that involves read/write operations to an ISO7816-3/4 compliant Smart card.

ROCKEY200 - ROCKEY200 supports read/write operations on full size Smart cards. It supports all Smart cards compatible with the T=0 and T=1 protocols, and the ISO7816-1/2/3/4 standards. One bicolor LED indicates the operating status of the reader. It also includes a USB connection cable. ROCKEY200 supports a standard PC/SC interface. ROCKEY200 is ideal for electronic payment system, ID authentication or any other application requiring reading and writing to Smart cards.

ROCKEY400 - A driverless HID device reader support read/write on full size Smart cards as ROCKEY200 does, it will help customer to eliminate potential end user support issue arise from device driver problem. It come with our latest modern silver color portable casing.
